Heartfelt conversation with the courageous Myanmar refugees in Malaysia
April 2026
What a wonderful Sunday morning! On April 26, 2026, with the kind invitation from my McCain Global Leaders (MGL) fellow Za Tu Hkawng, I had the privilege to share with the first cohort of Myanmar refugees living in Malaysia. They are participants in Zaw's Character-Driven Leadership Training program.
Supporting Indonesian small business owners in New York City
April 2026
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, I went to the “NY Indonesian Food Bazaar” or NYIFB in Queens, New York City. This is a monthly public event that is open for all, and managed to attract a few thousands visitors every event from the Indonesian community and other communities in New York City. NYIFB has been going on for the past 15 years and founded by Fefe Anggono, owner of “Taste of Surabaya”, a small food business operation. This time, I went there with a special visitor. She is Lishia Erza Budiman, Chair of Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) Entrepreneurship Capacity Building & Inclusive Economy Committee at the Indonesian Employers Association or APINDO, the oldest and the largest private sector association in Indonesia.
Wonderful session with incredible Myanmar’s youth
March 2026
One of the most rewarding moments for me as a Co-founder of VINSY Group and Host of Asia Forward podcast. Thanks to my incredible McCain Institute’s Global Leaders fellow Zaw Tu Hkawng, I had the honor to share with around 50 amazing young leaders in multiple locations in Myanmar, who are Zaw’s students.
